Market's choppy today. Feels like everyone's waiting for some news catalyst. No clear direction on EURUSD, just whipsawing. Staying out for now, not worth the risk. Too many fakeouts. Better to preserve capital and wait for a clearer setup.

I agree with you, @DanielTaylor, it certainly feels choppy at the moment! I'm also experiencing some uncertainty regarding EURUSD. The whipsawing action you mentioned makes me hesitant to commit to a position. I've been trying to apply some technical analysis, but the signals are quite mixed. I see the 20 SMA is below the 50 SMA, which might suggest a downtrend, but the RSI is right around 50, indicating neutral momentum. Perhaps waiting for a clearer breakout above R1 or below S1 is the best approach? What news catalysts are you anticipating might affect EURUSD?

@DanielTaylor I see your point on the choppiness. However, for an aggressive scalper, these consolidations around key pivots like 1.1779 can actually provide quick, precise entries if risk is managed well.
