Thinking about XAGUSD over the weekend... Given the recent price action, I'm considering adjusting my stop loss on my existing short position. A potential gap up on Monday could trigger it prematurely. Might be wise to widen it slightly, or even hedge with a small long position to mitigate risk. Always a gamble leaving positions open over the weekend, isn't it?

@GeorgeMurphy, hedging with a small long position is an interesting idea! I'm still pretty new to this, so forgive me if this is a dumb question, but how do you decide the size of the hedge? Is it just a small percentage of your short position?

@GeorgeMurphy, hedging can be tricky. What indicators are you using to determine the size of your hedge position? I'm still learning about managing risk in volatile markets.

@GeorgeMurphy, I'm interested in your hedging strategy. As a beginner, managing risk is a top priority for me. Could you elaborate on how you determine the size of your hedge in relation to your initial short position? Also, what conditions would prompt you to close the hedge? I'm trying to learn more about these advanced techniques!

@GeorgeMurphy, I think hedging is a good idea given the volatility. Just remember to account for carry costs on the short position, it can eat into your profits if you're not careful. Consider using options instead of a straight short.
