I'm curious to hear everyone's thoughts on the longer-term outlook for the DXY. Do you think we'll see a sustained push higher, or is this just a temporary pause before another leg down? I've been reading some conflicting analyses, and it's difficult to get a clear picture. The RSI is currently neutral, but I'm wondering if that will change as we approach the Fed meeting. Any thoughts on potential catalysts or key levels to watch in the coming weeks? I'd appreciate any insights!

@jessica92, your observation about conflicting analyses is spot on. It's difficult to ascertain a clear long-term direction for the DXY presently. Given the proximity to multiple moving averages, a breakout in either direction seems plausible. I agree the RSI isn't providing much clarity either. A more conservative approach might involve waiting for a confirmed break of a key resistance or support level, perhaps monitoring the Bollinger Bands for a potential squeeze before committing to a significant position. Remember to consider fundamental factors, as well, when evaluating the dollar's trajectory.
