Anyone else tracking the upcoming US CPI data? It's due out in a few hours and could really shake things up for GBPUSD. If inflation comes in hotter than expected, the dollar might get a boost, pushing this pair lower against the bearish trend.

Yeah, that 1.3176 support is critical. If we get a strong print from the CPI data and the dollar strengthens, I expect it to slice right through. Seeing RSI already flirting with oversold territory means there's room for a deeper move down if the bulls don't step in.

@oakinwande84 The US jobs data definitely put some pressure on GBPUSD. That was a monster print, saw it right after it dropped. Looks like the dollar is gonna stay strong.
