Honestly, I'm seeing a bit of a bearish flag forming on the 15-minute chart for USDJPY. It's not super defined, but the recent dip to just above 158.70 followed by this weak bounce is looking like textbook setup for another push lower. Especially with that 200 SMA hovering just above the current price around 159.03. If we can't reclaim that soon, I'm expecting a retest of the lower Bollinger band.

Hi @ThomasWilson24, I see what you mean about the potential bearish flag on the lower timeframes. It's true that the price action around 158.70 looked a bit weak for a moment. However, looking at the H4 chart, that 200 SMA is actually sitting below the current price around 159.01, which is acting more as support than resistance here. Plus, the overall trend on D1 is still showing strength, so I'm not convinced on a strong bearish signal just yet. I'll be watching the R1 pivot closely; a clear break and hold above that could signal continuation higher, especially if the news about geopolitical tensions starts to escalate and drive safe-haven flows into the yen, which would be the opposite of what you're seeing.

I'm more inclined to see if we can push past 159.20, that's the next key level for me.
