Hey guys, just wanted to get your thoughts on something I'm seeing on the DXY chart. I'm noticing a potential fair value gap (FVG) forming around the 98.60-98.70 level on the H4 timeframe. Also, there's what looks like an inducement below that, a little fakeout to grab liquidity before a bigger move. If smart money is playing this right, we could see a displacement candle soon, pushing DXY higher to fill that FVG. Anyone else spotting this setup??? I'm thinking of going long if it confirms, but want to hear your thoughts first before i FOMOing in lol.

@ChideraN6 That fair value gap you're seeing on DXY at 98.60-98.70 is interesting, Chidera. I'll have to take a look at the H4 chart. I'm wondering if that inducement you mentioned is really strong enough to hold. With the RSI so low (38ish), it seems like there's still room for the dollar to fall further. I'm a bit hesitant to buy into any fakeouts right now, especially with the market so quiet. Maybe wait for some confirmation before jumping in? What are your thoughts on the 200 SMA acting as support around 98.16? That could be a key level to watch too. Thanks for pointing that out btw!

Hey Chidera, I saw your post about the FVG on the DXY H4. I'm still getting a handle on identifying those properly myself. The price is hovering around the 50 SMA at 99.59, and that pivot point at 99.5 is also acting as some sort of level. I'm a bit hesitant to call that FVG valid until we see a clearer move away from this consolidation zone. What do you think?
