Ugh, I'm watching USDJPY right now and it's just hovering around 159.50. I bought in at like 158.80 thinking it was gonna go to the moon 🚀. Now my profit is shrinking and I'm getting super nervous. Should I take what I have or hold on??? My gut says it's gonna drop more. This is my first real trade and I'm already sweating buckets 😅. Hope I didn't mess up.

Hi @josephwhite32, it's totally understandable to feel anxious when your first big trade isn't going exactly as planned. That feeling of watching profits shrink is rough, I've been there! On USDJPY, Friday's close around 159.67 suggests some support is holding, which is good. The 158.80 entry you got in at is still decent if the long-term trend is indeed upwards. For a beginner, it's often better to err on the side of caution. If you're gut feeling is that it might drop more, you could consider moving your stop loss closer to your entry point to protect your capital – maybe around 159.20 or 159.00? This way, if it does drop, you limit your loss significantly, and if it bounces back, you still have potential for gains. Don't let emotions dictate your trades; have a plan for both outcomes. We're all learning here!

Hey @josephwhite32, don't sweat it too much man. USDJPY is super choppy. If you're nervous, maybe just take some profit off the table? Can always re-enter if it keeps going up.
