So XAGUSD finished the week around 75.60, which is kinda where it’s been hanging out for a bit. Didn’t see a huge move either way on Friday, which is probably good considering all the noise with the Middle East stuff. Wondering if we’ll see a gap open on Monday or if things will just drift.

@Harry_White, yeah I agree. That Friday close was pretty tame given everything going on. I'm not expecting a massive gap open unless something big breaks over the weekend, but I'm also keeping a close eye on the 74 support area.

Hello @IronStone88, I'm with you on the XAGUSD price action. That Friday close around 75.60 was indeed quite subdued considering the geopolitical backdrop. The Strait of Hormuz situation is certainly a wildcard, and while it hasn't caused a major gap open yet, a sudden escalation could certainly change that rapidly. I'm keeping an eye on the 75.30 pivot level as immediate support; a break below that, especially on increased volume, might signal some bearish sentiment kicking in. Conversely, if we can push past the R1 at 75.83 and hold it, that would be more encouraging for upside potential. For now, it feels like a waiting game, and liquidity is pretty thin, so be cautious of false moves. It's crucial to see how the Asian session consolidates before making any strong directional bets.
