Okay, so I was thinking about that volume not really confirming the bearish push on XAUUSD... what if we're actually seeing some stealth accumulation from the whales? Like, they're letting the retail panic sell and then they'll step in. The RSI is oversold on the lower timeframes too, which could be a sign. I'm really leaning towards a bounce here, maybe we test R1 around 5026 again and push higher. The news is a bit mixed, but I think the market is ignoring the bearish oil sentiment for now and looking at other factors. Definitely keeping an eye on that 4978 support though, if that breaks then my bullish bias might need a rethink, but for now, I'm feeling good about gold going up.

@ClimberSophie I hear you on the volume not confirming the drop. It does feel a bit... thin? Maybe you're right about the whales. I'm still a bit spooked by the news about the naval response though, that sounds like it could really spike things. Not sure what to think.
