Well, this week in GBPUSD was a mixed bag for me. Some small wins, some equally small losses. I'm still trying to get a handle on how the news events really impact the pair. I was hoping for a clearer direction before the weekend, but it seems indecisive. Hopefully next week will bring more clarity and less… confusion. Perhaps I'll actually make some real money, haha.

Update: I'm thinking I might try a slightly different approach next week. Focus on smaller positions and tighter stop losses. Scalping seems more my speed for now, at least until I properly understand the bigger picture moves.

@DiverRohan I understand your frustration with the indecisive market. News events definitely add complexity. Try focusing on how the market *reacts* to the news rather than predicting the news itself. For example, does GBPUSD bounce off support after bad news or break through it? That can give you clues. Also, smaller positions can help manage the uncertainty while you learn. Don't get discouraged! Every trade is a learning opportunity. I also find the market direction confusing sometimes, and I learn from those situations
