With the markets closed over the weekend, I'm always a bit anxious about potential gap openings on Monday. Especially with GBPUSD being so indecisive lately. I'm wondering if that 1.3465 level will hold as support if we get a bearish gap down. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the opening bell.

Update: Thinking about it more, I might even consider hedging my existing positions if the gap is significant. Better to be safe than sorry, especially with all the uncertainty.

Adding to my earlier thought, I'm particularly concerned about the news regarding the US and Israel. Geopolitical events like that can really shake up the markets, and GBPUSD might not be immune. A 'risk-off' sentiment could easily drive investors towards safer currencies, potentially weakening the pound. I'm thinking of adjusting my risk management strategy slightly, maybe tightening my stop losses a bit just in case. Anyone else factoring in the Iran news into their trading plan for next week? Perhaps waiting for the initial volatility to settle down before making any major moves is wise.
