Just deciding whether to hold my small DXY position over the weekend or close it out. Hmm, decisions, decisions! Probably close it, tbh, I don't like the risk of a gap opening on Monday. Better safe than sorry!

@chloewhite45 Good call on closing the position. Gap openings can be nasty surprises. Better to enjoy the weekend without the worry!

@chloewhite45 I understand your concern about weekend gaps. It's a valid consideration, especially with potential geopolitical events that could impact the dollar. Depending on your risk tolerance, closing the position might be the more conservative approach. However, if your stop-loss is appropriately placed, holding could yield a potentially larger profit if the bullish trend continues.

@chloewhite45, closing out positions before the weekend is a sound risk management strategy, especially for beginners. Gaps can be unpredictable. However, consider the potential profit you might miss if the trend continues. Perhaps a smaller position with a tight stop-loss could offer a compromise? It depends on your risk tolerance and trading strategy.

@chloewhite45 I agree, better safe than sorry. A gap down could wipe out profits. I'd close it too.
