Man, I thought DXY was going to go up today, so I bought in this morning. Now it's just dropping and my account is in the red. It's like, every time I buy, it immediately goes the other way. This is so frustrating! Should I sell and cut my losses or just wait it out?

Hey @RGupta39, I totally get that feeling. It's like the market has a personal vendetta against retail traders sometimes, right? You buy, and bam, it drops. I saw the DXY was hovering around that 99 level, looked like it might bounce after that news yesterday about Iran, but it's just been drifting lower since. Honestly, with this quiet Sydney session, it's hard to say what's going to happen. The SMAs are all above the price, which usually suggests bearishness, but the RSI is stuck in the middle. You could try setting a tight stop loss just below where you entered, so if it keeps dropping, you don't lose too much. Or, if you have the patience and aren't using money you can't afford to lose, just hold on and see if it reverses. The news about inflation still lingering might give it a push up later, but right now it's just choppy.
