My bad habits? Trading the DXY like it's a lottery ticket. Buy high, sell low, rinse and repeat. Pretty sure I'm single-handedly funding the broker's yacht. Maybe I should just draw pretty pictures instead.

I bought some on Friday thinking it was gonna go down, and now it's just sitting there. I don't get the technicals at all, I just see the price. Feels like I'm just guessing every time. Maybe drawing pictures is a better strategy for me too! 😂 Seriously though, how do people actually figure out when to get in and out? Any tips for a total beginner like me trying not to lose my shirt?
Hey @rnaidu974, don't sweat it too much mate. We've all been there with the DXY playing tricks. The key is to not chase it, but wait for clear setups. Focus on those SMA levels and see what happens next week. NFA, but maybe try swing trading it instead of scalping?
