XAUUSD Mar 4
Well, just got stopped out on my XAUUSD long position I opened yesterday around 5140. SL was a bit tight at 5130, shoulda given it more room, lesson learned! Guess I'll be watching from the sidelines for a bit before jumping back in. Anyone else get caught in that dip?

Update: Thinking about what went wrong with that last trade. I was so focused on the SMA that I ignored the overall range, which was pretty tight. Maybe I should have looked at the D1 chart instead of just H4. Also, volume was low, should have been a red flag. I'm thinking of setting an alert around 5175, and if it breaks that, I might consider going long again but with a wider SL, maybe around 5155. Gonna wait for confirmation though, not rushing into anything this time!

Sorry to hear about your stopped-out position, @StephanieAnderson. It's a common lesson to learn about setting stop losses too tightly. I'm also watching XAUUSD closely this morning. Do you have any thoughts on potential support levels where you might consider re-entering? Perhaps around the 5080 level?
