Watching ETHUSD during this Asian session, I'm employing a scaling-in strategy on the long side. I initiated my core position near the 50-day SMA around 2053. I'm looking to add more if we can reclaim the Bollinger Band middle line at 2054.92 and hold it. My next addition would be if we break above the R1 pivot at 2066.98 and see strong follow-through. Stops are progressively moved to breakeven after each addition to manage risk effectively. The goal is to build a robust position before a potential breakout.

Continuing my thoughts on the scaling strategy for ETHUSD, the reason I'm looking at the R1 pivot for a potential add is that it often acts as a psychological level, and a confirmed break above it would signal renewed bullish momentum. I'm also keeping an eye on the 200-day SMA just below 2048; if that were to break decisively on significant volume, my entire thesis would be invalidated, and I'd likely exit the position or at least reduce it significantly. The current neutral RSI at 52.4 suggests we're not overextended in either direction yet, which is ideal for this kind of phased entry. It's all about managing risk while capturing as much of the potential upside as possible.

Hi @ojones588, scaling in sounds smart! I wish I had a strategy like that. I'm just watching ETHUSD and hoping it goes up from here.
