Okay, so I've entered a small short position. I know it's risky with the overall bullish trend, but the pivot break looked convincing enough. My initial target is still 1978, but I'll be monitoring it closely. If it starts to look like it's reversing, I'll close the position quickly. Risk management is key here, folks. I'm only risking 1% of my account on this trade. BTW, I'm watching the H1 chart mainly, but also glancing at the D1 for the bigger picture. Let's see if this plays out. I'll keep you updated.

Update: Price is testing the pivot now. Volume is pretty low though, so it might be a fakeout. Gotta be careful. I'll wait for a confirmed break.

Hey @OscarG25, I saw your analysis on a potential short opportunity. While those levels were relevant at the time, ETHUSD has seen a significant price adjustment since then. We are currently trading around 1840.71, so your 1990 pivot is now far above the current market. Looking at the current chart, if ETHUSD fails to hold above the 20 SMA at 1836.76, we might see a move down towards S1 at 1796.61. But the RSI is still neutral so confirmation of bearish momentum is crucial before a short entry.
