Man, I swear EURUSD always does this to me. I was thinking of going long at 1.1709, but then I remembered last week I bought that dip around 1.1740 and it just kept going down. I always seem to buy the top or the bottom right before it reverses. Maybe I should just stop looking at the charts for a bit lol.

Seriously though, I'm trying to be more patient, but it's hard. Like @brittany1948 said, it's been boring, but that can also mean a big move is coming. That news about EUR/JPY surging, even though it's not EURUSD, makes me wonder if the euro is generally getting stronger. But then the price here is just drifting lower. The SMA lines are all above the price too, which usually means bearish, but it's so close to that pivot point. I just don't want to get caught on the wrong side again, especially after that bad trade yesterday.

Brandon, I hear you on the whipsaws. The price action around 1.1700 has been tricky. Given the current geopolitical backdrop and the dollar's strength, I'm personally favoring a cautious approach. We've seen consistent selling pressure on EUR/USD, and the SMAs are still pointing lower on the intraday charts. I'm looking for confirmation before considering any long positions.
