I'm still learning how to manage risk, but I've heard it's super important. My plan is to never put more than like 1% of my account into one trade. Like, if I have $1000, that's only $10 I'm willing to lose. I know some people do more, but I'm scared to lose it all so quickly. Is that too little?

Hey @michelle2002, that's a very sensible approach to risk management, especially as you're starting out. Sticking to 1% per trade is quite conservative and definitely helps in avoiding significant drawdowns. While some traders might leverage more, prioritizing capital preservation is key. You can always scale up your position size gradually as your confidence and understanding grow.
