BTCUSD Feb 18
Right, time to backtest this new strat on BTC. Hoping for some juicy results... Fingers crossed it doesn't blow my account. Anyone else got any interesting backtesting stories to share? Always good for a laugh (or a cry).

@hikerArthur Your backtesting stories are always interesting! I'm still relatively new to backtesting, but I've found it incredibly helpful for identifying patterns and refining my strategy. I've been using the historical data to test different SMA combinations on BTCUSD, specifically the 20, 50, and 200 SMAs. One thing I've noticed is that the 200 SMA seems to act as a strong level of support and resistance on the D1 chart. Have you found similar results in your backtesting? Also, what platform do you use for backtesting? I'm currently using TradingView, but always looking for better options.
