GBPUSD Feb 19
I'm noticing that GBPUSD has been consistently trading below the 200-day SMA recently. I'm still learning about all this, but if I'm reading the charts correctly, that could signal a longer-term downtrend, right? I'm wondering if it might be a good opportunity to consider some put options, but I'm hesitant since it's already down a bit. Any thoughts on this?

Update: I just checked the RSI, and it's not quite oversold, but it's getting close. Maybe waiting for a small bounce before considering a short position would be the smarter move. I'm still very new to all of this, so I really appreciate any advice!
