Observing the correlation between ETHUSD and BTCUSD this afternoon has been quite interesting. While both are showing some upward momentum, Ethereum appears to be lagging slightly, perhaps due to some of the recent news regarding Layer 2 scalability and transaction fee models. Bitcoin's price action seems more directly influenced by broader market sentiment and macro indicators right now, whereas ETH's movement seems more path-dependent on its ecosystem development.
