Right, so, with the market closed for the weekend, I'm kinda nervous about Monday's open for silver. That news about the US and Israel... could send silver skyrocketing as everyone runs for safe havens. I'm holding a small position and wondering if I should close it now to avoid the risk of a big gap up. What do you guys reckon?

Okay, so update: I've decided to hold my position over the weekend. I know, I know, risky move, but my gut feeling is that the fear surrounding that news is overblown. Plus, silver was already looking pretty bullish before all this kicked off. I'm thinking the initial spike might be followed by a quick correction, and I don't want to miss out on that. I've set a tight stop-loss just in case things go south, tho. Wish me luck guys! I'm also just starting to learn about hedging strategies so any advice on how to protect myself in the future would be appreciated lol.

I agree with you @HarperWalker68, geopolitical news can definitely impact silver prices. It might be wise to adjust your stop-loss just in case. Better safe than sorry!
