Watching the USDJPY charts this morning, seems we're consolidating just below that R1 pivot at 159.147. The 50 SMA is providing a decent floor around 158.70, so any dip there could be a buying opportunity if the overall bullish sentiment holds. RSI is sitting nicely in neutral territory, not showing any clear overbought or oversold conditions yet.

@avayoung42 Yeah, I saw that R1 pivot too. I actually took a small long position near the 50 SMA support earlier, around 158.80, but got stopped out pretty quick as you said. The RSI was looking okay but the overall market sentiment with recession fears might be weighing on USDJPY more than the charts suggest. Back to watching for now.
