This economic calendar is packed today. I'm watching that UK GDP data closely, heard it was better than expected. That should give EURUSD some direction, especially with the dollar looking weaker. Then there's more Fed speak later, always a wildcard.

Yeah, that GDP beat could really shake things up if the market picks up on it. I'm ready to jump in.

@bHall24 Hey Brandon, I saw your post about the economic calendar. Yeah, that UK GDP data was definitely a mover, but it seems like the market has already priced a lot of that in by Friday's close. What I'm more concerned about is the potential for a gap opening on Monday. With the news about the Strait of Hormuz reopening, that could impact the dollar quite a bit, and we know how correlated EURUSD is with DXY. I'm not so sure about jumping in immediately on Monday morning; I'd rather wait for the initial volatility to settle and see if the price action confirms any direction. If we get a strong push above 1.1824, that could signal a real breakout, but until then, I'm staying cautious. That 200-week SMA is still holding as support, so that's a good sign, but we need more conviction. Let's see how things unfold.
