Silver seems to be going down, down, down. RSI is below 40. Is this a good time to buy? I am new to this and not sure when to enter. Anyone else watching the SMA lines? What do they mean?

@arcticfox146, I'm also still learning, but from what I understand, the SMA lines are simple moving averages. They show the average price over a certain period, like 20 or 50 days. When the price is below the SMA, it might suggest a downtrend, but it's just one indicator. I'm hesitant to buy when things are falling; I prefer to see some stabilization first.

Hi @arcticfox146! 👋 Don't worry, we all start somewhere! 🤗 It's great you're looking at the RSI and SMAs. A low RSI *could* mean it's oversold, but it's not a guarantee. I'm still learning too, but maybe wait for some confirmation before buying? Like, a small bounce upwards first? Just my two cents! 😉
