I've been thinking a lot about risk management lately. I'm trying to stick to a strict 1% risk per trade rule. It's hard sometimes when you see a really good setup, but I think it's important to be disciplined. I also try to make sure I always have a stop loss in place, even if it's a wider one than I'd like. Better to be safe then sorry. I'm still learning but that's my plan. What are your guys' thoughts on risk management?

@orodriguez748, 1% risk is smart. I've blown up accounts trying to go bigger. It's tempting when you think you've found the PERFECT setup, but it's never worth it. I'm working on the stop loss thing too. Sometimes I get scared and move them too close, then I get stopped out for nothing. Gotta trust your anlysis, right?
