One thing I've learned trading USDJPY this past month is to respect the 200 SMA on the D1 chart. It's acted as strong support and resistance multiple times. Whenever price approaches it, be ready for a potential reversal or breakout. Too many times I've ignored it and paid the price. Patience is key!

Also, watch out for news catalysts when price is near the 200 SMA. Volatility can spike quickly, leading to false breakouts or breakdowns. Always good to have a wider SL in those scenarios.
