Anyone else just staring at the DXY chart all weekend, itching for Monday morning? This sideways action is killing me. Hoping for some real movement next week, one way or the other. Need to see a clear break above or below that 50 SMA.

To add to that, I'm looking at the Bollinger Bands tightening up on the daily. That usually precedes a significant move. The RSI is neutral, so no strong clues there. But I'm thinking a break above 97.60 could trigger a run to 98.00. Conversely, a drop below 97.30 might see it test 97.00 again. My concern is the market's reaction to any unexpected news over the weekend - could lead to a big gap either way. I'll probably set some alerts just in case and adjust my strategy accordingly. Anyone else have a similar view?

Update: Just re-checked the weekly chart. Still think a breakout is coming, but it could be a fakeout first. Gotta be careful.
