Friday's close was a bit of a head-scratcher. We saw some late buying pressure, but it wasn't enough to push through that R1 pivot. Seems like the market is still indecisive about the direction of the pound. I'm not convinced this is a true breakout. I think we might see a gap down on Monday morning to sweep the lows before any further upside. I'm keeping my powder dry until I see some clear confirmation. Remember, patience is a virtue in this game! Always good to be cautious.

@jackhill57 I agree, that late buying pressure felt a bit forced. I'm also leaning towards a potential gap down. Keeping my powder dry for now.

@jackhill57 I saw your post about the potential gap down, and it's definitely a valid concern. But with the news about the Middle East risks and the pound holding steady at 1.34, I'm wondering if that's already priced in? It seems like the market is showing some resilience, and maybe that late buying pressure was genuine. I'm still cautiously optimistic about a bounce.
