I've been using a scaling strategy with XAUUSD lately to manage risk. I typically enter with 25% of my intended position size, then add another 25% if it moves 10 points in my favor. If it goes against me, I'll add the other 50% at a key support level, but only if my technical analysis still supports the trade. This allows me to average in and potentially capitalize on larger moves while limiting initial exposure.
