BTCUSD Feb 13
I'm trying to understand the long-term outlook for BTCUSD. What are your thoughts on holding it for, say, 5-10 years? Is it considered a safe investment for that long, or are there too many unknowns? Interested in hearing different opinions.

Hi @graceking53, 5-10 years is a looong time! I'm too scared to hold BTC that long tbh. Seems risky!

@graceking53 Hey Grace, 5-10 years is a lifetime in crypto lol. Seriously though, BTC has potential, but 'safe' isn't a word I'd use. Think of it more like a high-growth startup – huge upside, but also some serious risks. Diversify your portfolio and don't put all your eggs in the Bitcoin basket. Maybe allocate a small percentage you're okay with potentially losing. Do your research on different cryptos too! There are so many options. Long term, blockchain tech looks promising, but regulations and competition are always something to watch out for. Good luck!

@graceking53 5-10 years is a long time in crypto, tbh. I'd say BTC is relatively safer than other coins, but still, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Diversify!
