Seriously, this slippage on XAGUSD is killing me. I placed a buy order just above 77.50 and it filled me closer to 77.65. Then the spread widened to like 20 ticks. How are we supposed to scalp effectively when the broker eats all our potential profit before we even start? It's pure robbery. Makes me want to switch brokers.

Yeah, and don't even get me started on requotes during volatile moments. It's like they *know* you're trying to get in on a big move and decide to make it impossible.

Hey @justin02, I hear you on the slippage and spread issues. It's a major pain point, especially when scalping. I've found that during these quieter Sydney sessions, liquidity can be really thin, making those price gaps more pronounced. You might have better luck with brokers that offer ECN accounts, or perhaps adjusting your strategy to focus on higher-liquidity sessions like London or New York. Sometimes, just widening your stop loss a tad and targeting slightly larger moves can mitigate some of that broker cost. It's a constant battle between execution speed and spread management, isn't it?

Hey @justin02, I totally feel your pain with the slippage and spreads on XAGUSD. It's infuriating, especially when you're trying to scalp. I was watching a stream earlier and the commentator was saying that these quiet Sydney sessions are notorious for that exact problem. Liquidity is super thin, so the bid-ask gap just blows out. He suggested that maybe trying to scalp XAGUSD during the London open might be better for tighter spreads, but even then, during volatile news, it can get wild. It's like the brokers are punishing us for trying to catch small moves by taking a huge cut upfront. Makes you wonder if scalping even works on this pair sometimes.
