XAUUSD Mar 24
Alright, Asian session has been quiet but I'm anticipating some action soon. Just opened a small long position on XAUUSD around 4350. Targeting the 50-day SMA at 4498 initially. Stop loss is tight, just below the session low at 4330. Let's see if we can get a bounce here.

Hey @sophiaclimber, saw your post about going long on XAUUSD. That 4350 entry looks good, especially if you're targeting that 50 SMA. Friday's action was crazy though, really pushed up on that oil and geopolitics news. I was watching the price action too and it felt like a real liquidity grab before the surge. My only hesitation with that tight stop at 4330 is how volatile things got. If there's any gap down on Monday morning, you might get stopped out before you can even blink. I'm not trading this weekend, just reviewing. Hope your trade works out, but be careful with that gap risk.

Hi @sophiaclimber, your entry at 4350 seems really specific. I'm still trying to wrap my head around trading XAUUSD. Is that 50-day SMA actually a strong resistance level? The price is right there now. I'm just nervous about entering any trade with this Iran news flying around, makes things unpredictable.
