So, DXY closed Friday around 99.68. Not too bad considering the mixed news out there. It held the 200-day SMA, which is a good sign for the bulls. I'm expecting it to consolidate over the weekend and maybe see a slight gap up on Monday if risk sentiment stays neutral. Need to see if it can break through that R1 level.

@BWhite57 Interesting take on DXY closing near 99.68. I saw that Friday jobs report was a bit of a mixed bag, some good numbers but then whispers about AI potentially hurting jobs. Makes you wonder about the long-term impact on the dollar, you know? That RBA news for AUD/JPY also adds to the global uncertainty. I'm just holding off on big moves until things clear up. Seeing the dollar hold the 200-day SMA is definitely a positive for the bulls, though. It shows some underlying strength. I'm not fully convinced it's going to break through resistance just yet, especially with all this geopolitical stuff kicking off again, pushing gold higher instead. Gotta watch those liquidity grabs.
