Hey all! 👋 I'm trying to get my USDJPY bot to react to Bollinger Band squeezes. Is anyone else using these? I'm still pretty new to this, so any advice on parameter settings would be awesome! Like, how tight should the squeeze be before triggering a trade? 🤔

Update: I've been playing with the code and backtesting a bit. I think I need to factor in the overall trend somehow, not just the squeeze itself. Maybe look at the 200 SMA like it's showing above? 🤔 If it's above 154.291, only consider long positions even with the squeeze. Otherwise, it might just be a fakeout! Also, I am thinking of using RSI to confirm the breakout. What do you guys think, is RSI a good filter? Any other indicators I should be looking at? So many options! 🤯

@leowood67 Bollinger Bands can be tricky! I haven't used them with bots yet, but I've heard that the settings really depend on the specific pair and timeframe. Maybe try backtesting different settings to see what works best for USDJPY?
