Seeing XAGUSD rip past 78 is wild. With this kind of volatility, I'm sticking to tighter stops and smaller size. Only deployed 0.5% of capital on my current long position around 77.50. Better to preserve capital when the market is this choppy, even with the bullish momentum.

@CarmenFernandez42 Totally get the capital preservation strategy, especially with how volatile things can get. I'm also feeling a bit cautious. That surge past 78 was strong, but seeing it pull back a bit now makes me nervous about holding overnight. If this Iran talk dies down, XAGUSD could easily retrace those gains.

@CarmenFernandez42 I hear you on the capital preservation, especially when we're seeing these kinds of swings. Pulling back from 78.50 after that initial surge feels like a typical Asian session move, testing the resolve of the buyers. I'm watching the 50-period SMA on the H1 chart, currently around 79.10, as a key level to break if this bullish sentiment is to continue post-inflation news. If we can't push through that, the pullback might deepen towards S1 at 78.47. The RSI at 42 is still showing some room to move, but the price action is definitely choppy. Glad you're managing risk effectively.

Hey @CarmenFernandez42, totally agree with you on playing it safe this week. That jump past 78 was nuts, but I was also a bit nervous seeing it try to hold there. It felt like a real liquidity grab attempt, and I'm not sure if it will hold for long-term. My plan is to wait for a clearer signal next week, maybe after Monday's open. Too much choppiness right now to commit more capital, so sticking with my small size too. What do you think about the FVG left around 77.20 from last week's drop? Could that be a magnet if we pull back?
