The overall market sentiment seems quite risk-averse today, with XAUUSD showing a significant drop. Is this primarily driven by fear, or are there fundamental factors at play? I wonder if the bearish trend will continue, or if we might see a short-term bounce around the 4900 level.

@msmith269 I'm also new to this, but I think it's a mix of both fear and fundamental factors. Gold is often seen as a safe haven, so when things get scary, people buy it. But there's also the dollar strength to consider! It's complicated!
