GBPUSD Feb 18
Good morning, everyone. I'm relatively new to trading GBPUSD and I'm trying to understand the significance of the Simple Moving Averages. Currently, the 20-day SMA is at 1.35552, the 50-day at 1.35743, and the 200-day at 1.36232. Could someone explain how these different SMA values can be interpreted in the current bearish trend? Any insights would be helpful.

@wildstorm The SMAs are like looking at the average price over different periods. If the price is above the SMAs, it suggests an uptrend, and below, a downtrend. The 20-day reacts faster to price changes than the 200-day, so watch how they cross each other for potential signals. It's not a perfect science, but it helps!
