Ugh, this weekend is dragginggg. It's like the charts are just taunting me, frozen in place. I just want Monday to get here already so I can see if that gap down is going to happen or if gold will surprise us. Seriously thinking about closing my small long position just to avoid the weekend worry, but then again, what if it gaps up massively? Decisions, decisions...

Actually, thinking more about this whole PH7 Technologies thing with the platinum group metals – it's a bit of a distraction but it also makes me think about how much demand there is for metals in general. If they can really pull off that recovery process, it might indirectly support the idea that metals are valuable and people will keep investing in them, like gold. It's not a direct driver for gold prices today, obviously, but it adds to the general narrative that precious metals are important. I guess I'm just trying to find any reason to be positive because this weekend waiting is killing me. I just hope Monday doesn't bring bad news for my position, that's all.
