Alright, time for some weekend strategy planning for XAUUSD. After that brutal Friday, my main focus for Monday is watching the open. A gap down below 4490 would be a strong bearish signal for me, and I'd likely wait for some consolidation before even considering a short. However, if we manage to hold the current levels or even push back towards the 4550-4580 resistance zone (R1 is around 4559), I might look for a scalp long, aiming for that FVG mentioned in Thread A if it gets filled. The RSI is deeply oversold at 29, so a bounce isn't out of the question, but the trend is clearly down. I'll be managing any positions very tightly with strict stops. Not looking to get caught as a bag holder this time.
