Good morning, all. I am cautiously optimistic about XAUUSD in the short term. The recent price action suggests a potential upward movement, especially considering it has breached the 20-day SMA. However, I'm also aware that the 5200 level has acted as a significant resistance in the past. I'll be watching to see if it can sustain above this point.

One more thought on XAUUSD... I'm also factoring in the overall market sentiment. With the current global economic uncertainty, gold tends to act as a safe haven asset. If risk aversion increases, we could see more investors flocking to gold, which would further support the bullish case. But I am also wondering, how reliable are those safe haven correlations really? Sometimes it feels like gold does the opposite of what everyone expects. Also, I'm still trying to figure out the best way to manage my stop losses in such a volatile market. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Following up on my earlier post, I'm particularly interested in how the price reacts around the R1 pivot point at 5146.8. If it manages to break through that level with conviction, it could signal a stronger bullish trend. I'm also keeping an eye on the RSI, which is currently neutral. A move above 60 on the RSI might confirm further upside potential. I'm still relatively new to this, so I'm trying to combine technical indicators with price action analysis to make informed decisions. Does anyone else use a similar approach?
