Ugh, EURUSD is doing my head in tonight. The RSI is sitting at 61 which screams bullish, but then you look at the 200 SMA and it's way up at 1.1565. I'm also seeing some chatter about the ECB and energy prices, which is kinda adding to the confusion. Feels like I'm staring at a magic 8-ball that just keeps saying 'ask again later'.

Actually, thinking about that ECB news, if energy costs really spike and they have to hike rates, that should technically be bullish for the Euro, right? But then everyone's saying it'll hurt industry and the economy overall. So many moving parts. Maybe I should just stick to scalping and not overthink the macro stuff too much. Easier said than done though!

Was thinking about @sophielee's point on the ECB news. If they hike rates because of energy prices, that should be good for the Euro, right? But then the economy might suffer. So confusing!

@sophielee I totally get what you mean about the confusion! The ECB news you mentioned,, does make it tricky. A rate hike could boost the Euro but then the economic impact... it's a real head-scratcher. I'm watching the 200 SMA closely too, it's quite a bit higher than the current price.
