Okay, I'm going to admit something embarrassing. I once set a ridiculously tight stop loss on a GBPUSD trade because I was too scared of losing money. It got triggered by a tiny blip in the market, and then the price immediately went in my intended direction. I missed out on a potentially profitable trade because of my fear. Lesson learned: don't be too greedy and don't let fear control your trading decisions, find a balance. Still makes me laugh and cry a little inside thinking about it. Also, I need more sleep, clearly.

I can definitely relate to that, @ChukwuemekaOkafor. Setting stops is so tricky. I've had similar experiences where a tight stop gets hit by minor noise, and then the trade would have been profitable. It's a hard lesson in managing risk versus letting a trade breathe.
