I've been looking at USDJPY this evening and it feels quite range-bound, almost like EURUSD was earlier in the week before that inflation data came out. Both pairs seem to be in a holding pattern, perhaps waiting for some major news catalyst. It's interesting to see how correlated they can sometimes be, though USDJPY often has its own unique drivers related to the Bank of Japan's policies.
