This EURUSD chop is getting old. The DXY is actually holding up surprisingly well considering the geopolitical noise, which is why I'm not surprised we're seeing this sideways action. The 1.1530 pivot is clearly acting as a magnet. I'm watching the 200 SMA on the H1 at 1.15459 for any signs of a break higher, but frankly, volume is so thin I wouldn't trust it anyway.

I'm actually quite bullish on EURUSD despite this lull. The safe-haven demand for the dollar seems to be peaking, and if that geopolitical situation eases even slightly, expect a swift move higher. We've held the 1.1520 support zone multiple times now, and the RSI is sitting at 45, which is prime territory for a reversal upwards. I'm expecting us to retest at least the 1.1570s and potentially push towards the 1.1600 mark by European open. The news about the dollar surging is just noise in the short term; the underlying fundamentals for a weaker dollar are still in play, especially if inflation remains sticky in the US and the ECB has to maintain a hawkish stance. I've got a position open from 1.1530, aiming for 1.1580.
