Man, this week was a rollercoaster for DXY. I was hoping to catch some serious leverage plays but it felt like a trap most of the time. That dollar weakening despite safe-haven demand? Makes no sense. I almost went full margin short on Friday thinking it had to bounce back with all the global risks, but then I saw that news about the Middle East tensions and how that usually boosts the dollar. Decided to sit it out instead of getting caught in some inducement BS. Saw some comments about Canada and oil, but DXY is my focus. Just waiting for Monday to see if we gap up or down. This whole currency game is insane sometimes.
