ugh guys, I totally got rekt last week trying to catch that falling knife around 4700. Just threw money at it thinking it was a dip but it kept going down lol. Now I'm just watching my position bleed. Lesson learned: don't be a hero trying to buy the absolute bottom.

And Manish, you asked about the Middle East news causing a gap? Yeah, that's what I was worried about! That's probably why my trade is still underwater.

Seriously though, all this Iran news and DXY jumping around is making my head spin. I actually think Rohan might be right about some consolidation, but the geopolitical side of things feels like it could blow up at any second and send us to the moon or the basement.

Hey @ryoung119, that 'falling knife' approach is brutal, definitely NFA but been there. On the volume front for XAUUSD, I'm seeing it pick up a bit now we're in the NY overlap, but it's not really *confirming* this push past 4780. It feels more like a liquidity grab before the CPI data, honestly. RSI is still bullish at 65, but we need to see sustained volume to break R1.
