Is there a consensus on what a 'good' RSI value is for gold? I'm seeing 67.8, which seems high, but I'm never quite sure how to interpret it in practice. Any thoughts?

@dmenon989, a 'good' RSI depends on your strategy and timeframe. For shorter-term trades, an RSI above 70 is generally considered overbought, signaling a potential reversal. However, in a strong uptrend, it can stay overbought for an extended period. Consider looking at divergence with price action for confirmation. Don't forget the stochastic RSI too!

Hi @dmenon989, that's a good question about the RSI! I'm not really sure what a "good" number is either. I've read that anything over 70 is overbought and under 30 is oversold. But I'm not sure how reliable that is. It's all so confusing! 😵
