Been watching some YouTube analysis videos tonight, and most seem to agree that the current dip in BTCUSD is just a healthy correction. One analyst mentioned that the miner news about the 2028 halving, while concerning for them, doesn't necessarily mean a price collapse is imminent for the coin itself. They're focusing on the technicals around the 200-day SMA still holding.

You know, thinking more about that miner halving news, it's easy to get caught up in the negativity. But if you look at the bigger picture, these events have historically led to supply shocks that eventually push prices up. The current price action around 70600 is still above the 200-day SMA, which is a key level for many investors. I'm not worried about a major crash. The current quiet session is just giving us a chance to accumulate before the next leg up. We could see a strong move once liquidity picks up.

@faizalsailor Yeah, I'm trying not to stress about the miner halving news too much. The headlines about BTC going past $76k are way more interesting! Fingers crossed it keeps climbing so I don't wake up to bad news 🤞

@faizalsailor I totally get your point about the miner halving and not getting too caught up in the negativity. Historically, these supply shocks have often been followed by price appreciation, but it's always a bit of a gamble on the timing. I've also been looking at the charts, and while the RSI is sitting around 39, which usually suggests a bit of weakness, the price itself is still holding above the 200 SMA on the daily. That's a pretty strong support level. Also saw that SEC news about the Bitcoin Latinum fraud allegations earlier; not sure if that's affecting sentiment at all, but it's always something to keep an eye on, especially with those regulatory headlines popping up. For now, I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll see a bounce back towards that 76.3k resistance level soon, but I'm not committing to a big position until we get a clearer break or some sustained volume.
